Resale contracts typically cost 33% to 58% less per point than buying the same points directly from Disney, and resale points book your home resort the same way direct points do. The tradeoff is resale restrictions: resale points can't be used for the Disney Collection (non-DVC hotel stays), Concierge Collection, or Adventures by Disney packages, and Riviera resale contracts can only book Riviera itself. If you mainly plan to vacation at DVC resorts, resale is usually the better value.

Start by browsing listings above and filtering by resort, points, price per point, and use year. Once you find a contract, contact the listing broker directly to negotiate and sign a purchase agreement; buyers don't pay a broker commission, only closing costs of roughly $500 to $1,000 plus Disney's $500 transfer fee. The broker submits the signed agreement to Disney, which has 30 days to exercise its Right of First Refusal (ROFR). Once Disney waives ROFR, a title company handles closing and deed transfer, typically another 2 to 5 weeks, before Disney activates your membership.
